Magic Radio is a French internet radio station that is broadcasting ‘Oldies Hits 24 hours a day’. In addition to a CD Quality Lossless FLAC stream it provides 192kbps MP3, 64kbps AAC streams, a TuneIn web player and iOS and Android apps.
According to Loïc, the station’s creator, Magic Radio has been broadcasting since 2002 ‘mainly titles of the Eighties but also sometimes of other decades.’ The station is his personal non-profit project and he says, “The programming is completely subjective but I try to keep an overall coherence. I have always been passionate about radio and sound techniques since my childhood. I experienced the beginning of FM in France, ear glued to the transistor, fascinated by the new medium! My goal is to recreate this “atmosphere” that existed on FM in the 80s in terms of musical programming and jingles.”
