Zog Radio was an internet radio station broadcasting a CD Quality Lossless FLAC stream. In October 2022 DJ Zog announced that “Zog internet radio will be on hiatus”. He continued “I know this has got a lot of positive feedback, but for a while this service will be shut down as I have too much on my plate. This could very likely be started up again in future, if so I will note here.”

According to the station, it is ‘a new ICECAST Internet radio station being trialled during the COVID-19 downtime.’
The station is run by DJ Zog who is a ‘Techno, Ambient, Dub Techno DJ and occasional producer from Melbourne Australia.’
The website contains information about DJ Zog’s upcoming gigs, links to his SoundCloud and Bandcamp sites and some streaming and downloadable mixes.
DJ Zog says, “DJ ZOG is often up for a DJ set in and around Melbourne or Victoria (Australia) – or at least will be when the COVID-19 pandemic passes 🙂 ”
Recent high profile gigs have been in the Ambient or Dub techno chilled out space, but ZOG also can fill the dance floor playing techno, the odd retro 90s set, or more eclectic selections at numerous warehouse parties, clubs, and other events.”
The site now offers a webplayer and both an encrypted and an unencrypted lossless FLAC stream which should now accommodate most media players.
