Deezer launches podcasts in Israel with both its shows and user interface in Hebrew as well as being able to listen to international podcasts. Deezer users in Israel can now access the podcast tab, ‘Shows.’ Similar to its music offering, Israelis can listen to both local and international podcasts.

Users will be able to discover both recommended and top podcasts in its app such as “Hayot Kis” and “Osim Historia”. There are 13 categories ranging from news and politics, business, kids podcasts, sports, education and more. Users can also listen to Deezer Originals, podcasts created exclusively for Deezer.

Alexander Holland, Chief Content and Strategy Officer, Deezer, said “I regularly binge on podcasts in the evenings. I wish I could understand Hebrew, as I’d love to enjoy some of the local podcasts that we offer in Israel. But better you than me! Just don’t blame me when you get addicted and can’t stop playing. And we’ll continue adding new podcasts going forward to make sure you will always find something fresh to listen to.”

Deezer’s ‘Shows’ tab is available on mobile and desktop devices and is updated regularly.
