Global recorded music revenues grew 10.2% in 2023 driven largely by growth in paid subscription streaming according to IFPI, the organisation that represents the recorded music industry worldwide. US music revenues grew for 8th consecutive year in 2023 up 8% to a record high of $17.1 Bn according to figures released by the RIAA. SuperStereo Chile is back ‘on the air’ after recovering from last week’s devastating flood which completely ruined its studio and servers. SuperStereo Chile suffers damaging flood and is now only broadcasting SuperStereo 1 from a backup location. The station put out the following announcement, “We have suffered a flood in our broadcasting plant, damaging most of our equipment, we are currently broadcasting with our emergency transmitter on channel 1 from another location, we hope to be back as soon as possible, at least it will be about 5 days before that.” We’ll keep this post updated […]
