DEEZER updates Latin channels for ‘Music Meets AI’ campaign

DEEZER is launching a ‘Music Meets AI’ marketing campaign in the US spotlighting its FLOW feature by tapping into the Latin market’s passion for music and introducing a competitive free trial.

Some 60 million people of Hispanic origin live in the US and DEEZER aims to provide audiences with relevant local music and to work closely with the local artists that matter. The streamer has added a new free trial so that new users can discover the best Latin music and content enhanced by features that cater to a bicultural world.

DEEZER has introduced dedicated playlists in growing genres such as Reggaeton, Latin Trap, and Regional Mexican subgenres like Banda and Norteño. The updated Latin music, content and features include:

  • Genre specific channels covering Latin Music, Reggaeton, Brazilian Music, Mexican Music, and Salsa
  • Artist curated playlists from popular Latin artists including Ozuna, Becky G, Calibre 50 and Juan Magan
  • Top Latin podcasts including Latinos who Lunch, Radio Ambulante, El siglo 21 es hoy and Latino Talk
  • DEEZER’s signature Flow feature that uses smart algorithms to play all the songs you want to hear and helps you discover new ones
  • Premium users benefits include uninterrupted ad-free music, downloadable playlists and favourite tracks and offline listening
  • Lyrics in English and in Spanish

DEEZER’s marketing campaign ‘Music Meets AI’ illustrates DEEZER’s Flow feature which uses artificial intelligence and user feedback and shows robots and humans coming together in dance. The TV spots features the song ‘Bum Bum Tam Tam’, by Latin artists MC Fioti, J. Balvin, Stefflon Don and Juan Magan and encourages music fans to download the free app and discover their Flow on DEEZER.

DEEZER will kick-off its marketing campaign in time for Hispanic Heritage month (15th September to 15th October), during which DEEZER will also feature #OrgulloLatino playlists taken over by Latin artists.
