Shiri Hebrew music streaming app launched backed by the Israeli Culture and Sport Ministry and put together in conjunction with the National Library of Israel and the music nonprofit Finjan. The app gives free access worldwide to more than 40,000 Hebrew songs and there is both an Android and iOS app available.

The developer states on Google Play that ‘Shiri is the only Israeli music app that learns the taste of listeners and offers them Israeli music, free of commercials and free of charge.
Simply choose up to three favorite Israeli artists (you can change the selection at any time) and begin to hear in a row their songs and those of Israeli artists like them. The result: The first Israeli radio that listens to you, broadcasts Israeli music to your taste in sequence, for free, without talking and without advertisements!’

The app’s interface is currently only available in Hebrew.
