Spotify adds 11 more languages to its apps

Spotify adds 11 more languages to its apps including UK English, Spanish and Arabic variants bringing the total number of languages on Spotify to 74. This is in addition to the 27 languages they launched with and the 36 languages they rolled out in 2021.

Spotify’s mobile app will now also support:

  • Spanish – Argentina
  • Spanish – Mexico
  • Traditional Chinese – Hong Kong
  • Arabic – Egypt
  • Arabic – Saudi Arabia
  • Basque
  • Bosnian
  • English – UK
  • Galician
  • Macedonian
  • Arabic – Morocco

How to change your language in Spotify

iOS

  • Tap Home Spotify Home Icon.
  • Tap Settings Spotify Cog Icon and select Account.
  • Tap Language and select your preferred language.

Android

  • Android 13 and newer
    • Tap Home .
    • Tap Settings  and scroll down to Languages.
    • Tap App language and select your preferred app language.
  • Android 12 and older
    • You need to change the language settings on your device. See the support site for your device to find out how.

Note: This will change the language on your entire device.

Desktop

  • Click your profile picture at the top, and select Settings.
  • Under Language, select your preferred language.
  • Log out and back in.

Web player

  • You need to change the language settings on your browser. See the support site for your browser to find out how.

Note: This will change the language for all web pages on your browser.
