Spotify Audiobooks adds 3 more countries – Canada, Ireland and New Zealand – to its growing list of countries that Spotify Premium subscribers can access audiobooks. From the 9th April Spotify Premium users in these markets will have access to up to 15 hours of audiobooks per month, seamlessly integrated alongside music and podcasts, on a single platform through a unified subscription.

Spotify’s Premium audiobook catalogue, already available in the US, UK, and Australia, is one of the largest subscription-based audiobook-streaming platforms with 250,000 titles and growing.

The streamer added a new Audiobook Access subscription plan in March this year giving booklovers 15 hours of listening for $9.99/month which is available only in the US. According to a recent Bloomberg report, Spotify will be increasing its subscription plans in various countries (including the UK) at the end of April and in the US sometime later in 2024.

However, there is still no news regarding the availability of lossless audio which with TIDAL’s new pricing structure only a few days away is starting to make the Spotify proposition looking less attractive by the day.
