SiriusXM reaches a record 31 million paying subscribers in Q1 2021 adding 126,000 net new subscribers in Q1 2021, an 83% increase from the 69,000 added in the first quarter of 2020. Total revenue increased 2% to $1.62 Bn with gross profit totalling $993 million, relatively unchanged compared to the first quarter of 2020. Radio still listened to by 86% of Australians and 37% are reached by podcasting each month according to a recent study conducted by Edison Research on behalf of Commercial Radio Australia (CRA), Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) and Triton Digital.
