Vinyl LPs outsell CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in UK according to analysis by ERA, the digital entertainment and retailers association. Year-to-date sales figures show that for the first-time vinyl LPs have overtaken all physical entertainment formats bar Nintendo Switch games. UK vinyl and cassette sales surge in 2020 with vinyl sales worth twice as much as music video streaming platforms, such as YouTube, despite the tens of billions of videos watched every year.
