Deezer activates mood selection for Sonos Voice Control allowing users to be able to set the mood with a perfect blend of songs through the Flow feature, simply using their voice. Sonos users in the US now have the ability to launch a playlist based on their mood through Sonos Voice Control, with the addition of the Deezer exclusive Flow feature. Listeners can access mood based playlists from Deezer, with simple voice commands such as “Hey Sonos, play my Party Flow”.

The Sonos Voice Control experience and the Deezer integration have been developed in close collaboration to ensure seamless compatibility. Sonos Voice Control works on every voice-capable Sonos speaker, processing requests entirely on the device. No audio or transcript is sent to the cloud, stored, listened to or read by anyone.

Nicolas Pinoteau, VP Product & Engineering, Partnerships at Deezer, said “Sonos is a valued partner and we’re happy to continue delivering innovative and user-friendly solutions to our shared community of music fans. Flow is a signature feature for Deezer and with this update, US users can now set the mood with a simple voice command.”

Joseph Dureau, Vice President, Voice Experience, Sonos added, “Deezer provided excellent support as we developed Sonos Voice Control and we look forward to continuing our collaboration in the future.”

Sonos Voice Control for Deezer was launched in the US in June 2022 and the addition of moods for Flow was rolled out on the 6th December 2022.
