First Public Radio is an internet radio station playing new music and top 40 hits and broadcasting CD Quality Lossless FLAC and MP3 streams. According to the station, they are “Radio for music and background sounding of any business. Radio without ads in high lossless quality 728 kpbs flac!”

The station’s website is in Russian but Chrome will automatically translate the pages with pleasing results. There is a web player for the FLAC stream and 4 x MP3 streams – 320, 192, 128 and 96kpbs. The FLAC stream when played through foobar tops out at over 1200kbps averaging around 1000kbps rather than the 728kpbs advertised.
