Lyrics come to Deezer Free on desktop enabling a full karaoke experience on computers joining users on mobile who have had this feature for a while. Since January 2020 Deezer has seen a 33% rise in music fans using their lyric feature worldwide. Available now, Deezer Free users can enjoy lyrics on their computer.
Deezer’s Free plan users can now see real time lyrics on both mobile and desktop and also cast these to a TV. To enable lyrics, tap the mic symbol under the name of the track that’s playing and the lyrics will appear on the screen and play in real time.
Deezer’s VP of Product, Benoit Terpereau, said “It’s been great to see a growing interest in our lyrics button. So I’m really pleased that our free users can now enjoy using lyrics on multiple devices. Go ahead and share your screen on your next Zoom call for some extra karaoke fun!”
