Spotify raises download limit

10,000 songs on up to five devices

Spotify on smartphone

Spotify raises its download limit for offline listening from 3,333 songs on three devices to 10,000 songs on up to five devices. With a potential to store up to 50,000 songs this would give you over 100 solid days of offline listening. It would have to be a hellava wilderness trip to be out of internet access for longer than that and run out of music!

  1. Switch on Download icon_toggle to the right of any playlist. You can also switch it on for all Songs in Your Library.
Note: It’s not possible to download albums or podcasts in the desktop app.
  2. When it’s finished downloading, the Downloaded symbol Offline toggle icon appears to the right of the playlist name.
  3. Now, whenever you’re not connected to the internet, or when your app is in offline mode, you can still listen to what you’ve downloaded in the app.
