The Top 50 US podcasts for Q1 2022 chart according to Edison Podcast Metrics, formerly known as the Podcast Consumer Tracking Report has been published by Edison Research. Edison Podcast Metrics is the only podcast measurement service that measures the relative audience size and demographics of all podcast networks in the US.

The Edison Podcast Metrics Top 50 Podcasts of Q1 2022 list is derived from data collected continuously Q2 2021 – Q1 2022, from surveying weekly podcast consumers ages 18 and older in the US.

The top shows on the list are:

  2. Crime Junkie
  3. The Daily
  4. This American Life
  5. My Favorite Murder
  6. Stuff You Should Know
  7. Office Ladies
  8. Dateline NBC
  9. The Ben Shapiro Show

Gabriel Soto, Edison Research Director of Research said, “Despite a turbulent and controversial ride for Joe Rogan at the beginning of the quarter, his show not only remains the most popular in the US, but it has increased in listenership – distancing itself from the number two spot.”
