Deezer adds ‘Country Selector’ feature allowing listeners to switch music and shows tabs to anywhere in the world. The new ‘Country Selector’ feature lets you switch your music and shows tabs to a location of your choice. Within seconds, you’ll instantly get transported and have access to local artist tracks, curated playlists, charts and shows. So if you’re curious about life on the other side of the ocean, Country Selector lets you hear what the locals are listening to without stepping out the front door. You can choose French podcasts one day and German tunes the next. All you need to do is choose ‘Country Selector’ in Settings and pick any homeland that you like. Don’t worry if you’re a little rusty with your español as your language preferences will remain the same each time you select a different country.

Stefan Tweraser, Deezer’s Chief Product and Growth Officer, said “We want our listeners to be able to hold onto a piece of their home or immerse themselves in a different culture, even if they’re a thousand miles away. It’s also a good way to pick up a new language, as our curated playlists and channels will introduce you to the best selection of tracks from any chosen country.”

Deezer’s Country Selector is available now and available worldwide across web and mobile devices.
