IDAGIO is ‘one of 100 Best Inventions of 2019’ according to TIME magazine’s annual list of the best and most innovative inventions in a wide variety of categories. The classical music streamer is featured along with LG’s 88-inch OLED 8K TV as the only two items selected in the Entertainment category.

To assemble the 2019 TIME Best Inventions list, TIME solicited nominations across a variety of categories from editors and correspondents around the world, as well as through an online application process. Each contender was then evaluated on key factors, including originality, effectiveness, ambition and influence. The result: 100 ground breaking inventions that are changing the way we live, work, play and think about what’s possible. The full list of 2019’s selected inventions can be found here.

The specialist classical music streamer recently launched IDAGIO Free, a free radio-like streaming service supported by in-house ads, joining its paid for Premium and Premium+ services which provide 320 kbps and CD Quality audio streaming respectively.

IDAGIO has a catalogue of over 2 million tracks available in CD-Quality lossless FLAC together with a tailor-made search capability for classical music. The classical music streamer claims subscribers in over 190 countries with its app having been downloaded more than 1.5 million times.
