TIDAL launches ‘My Video Mix’ which are a series of personalised visual playlists using a combination of a proprietary algorithm, audio streaming behaviour and curation from TIDAL’s editorial team. Users can receive up to eight diverse video playlists fit for every mood and moment, depending on users’ audio and video streaming activity. For optimal interest, each mix is grouped by artists and music clusters (genres and popularity based on other users) and the more frequently TIDAL is used the more rapidly it will rotate in fresh content. New iterations of the individual video mixes can be saved and off-lined for on-demand listening as a video playlist in the ‘My Collection’ tab.

The app interface has been redesigned with a dedicated ‘Videos’ tab to spotlight TIDAL’s extensive catalogue. The ‘Videos’ tab can be accessed via the bottom menu on the mobile app and on the left menu on both web and desktop applications. You can locate My Video Mix at the top of the Videos section of the TIDAL app. My Video Mixes can also be found within My Collection by clicking on My Mix.

Depending on the variety of music you enjoy, you will be offered 1-8 mixes. And the more you listen and watch, the more often the mixes will be updated. If you are new to TIDAL, you will start getting personalised mixes after you have streamed enough for our algorithms to determine your music personality. If you want to save a My Video Mix, you can save the mix by pressing + Create Playlist. This will save the My Video Mix as a playlist and add it to My Collection.
