Mother Earth Radio adds a Jazz channel offering a Lossless FLAC stream plus AAC and MP3 streams with both direct streaming links and a webplayer. For jazz aficionados the links at the bottom of this post are jazz internet radio stations offering CD Quality Lossless FLAC programming.
Additionally, the station made the switch to 192kHz for its Instrumental channel in July this year. In a blog posting the station’s founder Florian Reiterer said that the ‘channel is still running some CD format recordings and 96k files, but the share of true 192k files is now notably large, so we switched [from 96kHz]. Mother Earth’s other two channels – Mother Earth Radio and Mother Earth Klassik – made the move to 192kHz earlier in the year.
