Radio Calico, the US based HiRes internet radio station goes global removing its geoblocking which previously restricted listening to the US only. In a recent announcement the station said, “…we now have dedicated apps in Google Play and the App Store that are capable of 48kHz / 24-bit HLS lossless streaming, in addition to our website player. K-Free is an internet radio station broadcasting Christian and Contemporary music based in Peoria, Arizona with an HLS encoded CD Quality FLAC stream using StreamS technology. Their website has a webplayer for the FLAC stream and also links for an AAC webplayer and Alexa. The FLAC stream was successfully tested with VLC but foobar would not play the stream.
