TIDAL Connect launches with MQA support

TIDAL Connect launches with MQA support enabling HiFi plan subscribers to control their music listening on connected devices directly from the TIDAL app. TIDAL recently announced its launch of its lossless casting technology and MQA is the latest in a prestigious line-up of audiophile suppliers to back this service.

MQA-enabled device partners currently at launch include: Bluesound, DALI, KEF, iFi, Monitor and NAD, as well as integration partner StreamUnlimited. HiFi members can switch devices seamlessly using the TIDAL app as a controller, while continuing to listen to their favourite Masters album or track.

How to connect your device

  • Open the ‘Now Playing’ screen while playing a song.
  • Go to device selector on the bottom left.
  • Choose a TIDAL Connect-enabled device.

MQA have produced a short video uploaded onto Facebook to show ‘How to use TIDAL Connect’

Radio Paradise to be first HiRes internet radio station when it launches in April 2021 using MQA encoding on the BluOS platform. It will use MQA-encoded audio on all four of its mix channels, utilizing high-resolution 24-bit masters where available.
