TIDAL streaming is now available in the latest Tesla software update (Release 2021.40) for its range of Electric Vehicles (EVs). Streams can be accessed from the Media menu with a TIDAL account. You can listen to TIDAL playlists or albums in high-quality audio by connecting to Wi-Fi and pressing Download on the selected content.

Tidal was launched in 2014 by Norwegian public company Aspiro and is now majority-owned by Square, an American payment processing company. It now has over 80 million songs and 350,000 videos and with its HiFi subscription plan offers CD Quality (1411 kbps), Master sound quality (2304-9216 kbps) via MQA, Dolby Atmos and Sony 360 Reality Audio formats. In March 2021 the service announced that it was available in 61 countries.
